Introduction
The Santa Rosa Colonial Coffee Site, property created by Calabrian Italians in the early 20th century in the municipality of Uchôa (30 km from São José do Rio Preto), has an area of 9 alqueires. The former property of Melchiore Baffi aims to rescue, enhance, and share customs and traditions that, as a whole, allow us to better understand the nature, society, and culture of our region. The Uchoa Paleontology Museum “Pedro Candolo” is located in the municipality of Uchoa-SP and is the newest among the national paleontological museums. The institution was inaugurated on December 30, 2016, with the mission of becoming a regional hub for research and scientific dissemination. The collection consists of rocks, fossils, illustrations, scientific models, and other educational materials.

ITINERARY: "THE ORIGIN OF LIFE AND LIFE AT THE SITE"
FULL DAY
6:30 AM - Document Conference and Boarding in front of the School
7:00 AM - Departure to Uchoa at the Colonial Coffee
8:00 AM - Arrival at the Santa Rosa Site: reception by the monitors
8:20 AM – Morning snack
9:00 AM - Visit to the barn and milking
9:30 AM - Mine trail with visit to the Paleontological Site and outdoor activities: class on the origin of life, presence of dinosaurs, and paleontology work
− River trail and fossil prospecting
− Discussion on ecology and storytelling
11:30 AM – Visit to the Animal World: breeding of birds and mammals at the site− 12:00 PM - Lunch served on a wood stove in the old coffee barn
1:00 PM - Visit to the facilities in the coffee yard: House – Museum: residence from 1908 with objects from the Melchiore Baffi family
− Sensory Garden: circular garden with a wide variety of plants
− Tree house
− Recreational activities or workshop (painting, clay)
3:30 PM – Afternoon snack
4:00 PM – Farewell
4:15 PM - Guided visit to the Pedro Candolo Paleontology Museum - Lecture, exhibition, and laboratory
5:00 PM - Return
