Introduction
LOCKING
It is well known that the teaching and learning process depends on theoretical work, which in turn is applied in classrooms; however, we know that every process can and should be supported by complementary activities (in-person, dynamic, playful, among others) assisting in this process.
We constantly encounter, in our contemporary education, the lack of motivation and involvement of students in the learning process, especially regarding Environmental Education. Thus, the need for teaching methodologies that motivate and awaken these interests is evident, particularly concerning the rational use of water, preservation of water bodies, ecosystems, fauna, flora, among others.
Betting on awareness through innovative methods, the Médio Tietê River Navigation, in partnership with the NGO MAE Natureza, has been successfully developing this work for years, annually receiving thousands of students and teachers on board its vessels, coming from various points in the State of São Paulo and beyond.

MEMORIAL OF THE RIO TIETÊ
A visit to the Memorial of the Rio Tietê is essential, as it is unique in the state, where a permanent exhibition can be found, with a rich collection about the river and the environment, located next to the boarding port, in the cultural centre, open from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 20:00, Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 17:00.

CABLE CAR TOUR WITH CITY TOUR
The versatility of the Barra Bonita tram makes the tourist ride enjoyable for passengers, transporting them back to the old times of romance and the beautiful era with choro music.
The trams are comfortable, faithfully following the old style, and the tram staff are dressed in period costumes, a beautiful effort aimed at recovering the brilliant work of artisans specialized in metalwork and carved wood, thus maintaining the originality of the trams of yesteryear.
