HOTEL FAZENDA SALTO GRANDE
Fazenda Salto Grande was built in 1850 for the cultivation of coffee, rice, oranges, and cattle ranching. In 1940, the property was purchased by the Lupo family and transformed into Hotel Fazenda Salto Grande.
Our meeting will begin with a brief introduction with our specialist educators on the structures to be studied, who will guide us through a character that represents their experiences in this lush context. A cataloged trail with characteristics of Atlantic forest, with a precise stop at a 52-meter-high waterfall for contemplation and study.

Chácara Sapucaia constitutes a rich architectural and landscape heritage that intertwines important aspects of local and national political, literary, educational, and scientific history. The birthplace of Macunaíma, the Chácara intertwines the farmer and philologist Pio Lourenço Corrêa with the writer Mário de Andrade and the Modernist Movement. It was at Pio Lourenço's Chácara that Mário de Andrade wrote Macunaíma, the hero with no character, a masterpiece of Brazilian modernism.
